The first Dynatos Soccer Tournament

The school had their own goal scoring super-soccer star team although they had never competed in any tournaments with their grand skill. The team had recently suggested a tournament and had been approved to go ahead with the idea.
Their would be tournaments with any teams that felt like joining although they would have to sign up their teams before the tournament began.
The superstars of Dynatos were the first team to have signed up, Pyros wanted to sign up but he lacked 3 players for his team, a striker, and 2 mid-fielders. He put up ads all over the school and down in the shopping centres around but so far he had no success.
Their were 10 teams now signed up for the tournament and he wanted to make sure he wasn't left out, he needed a team. Pyros went down to the shopping centre and someone came up to him. "hi, I'm Lukas, ex-striker for the American national team, and i was wondering if you still need a striker?" He asked. Pyros was stunned, a national player wanted to play for his team? "yeah, ofcourse you can play for us, it would be an honour" Pyros replied. The player shook Pyros' hand and walked off with a wave.
Pyros headed back for the school.

OOC: ok, as in my first soccer thread i will just continue by posting one a day or so im sure this can be accepted against double posting, its really the only thing im still in on dynatos.

IC: Pyros got back and knew he needed 2 more players by tommorow, he headed for the soccer field and noticed some a game going on, he had never seen them playing any sports around the school. 'this might be what im looking for' Pyros thought as he went over and sat down in the grandstand watching the super-powered game paying close attention to the midfielders.
He watched as the game seemed to be mostly in the midfield which was a good thing, Pyros paid attention to the midfielders finding 2 players especially good, they were constantly fighting for the ball.
finally one of them won the ball and headed for the goal, he grew red and struck his ball with the top of his foot. The ball flew towards the goal glowing in red, Pyros had no idea what this glow meant but it looked dangerous and illegal for soccer, he stood up to leave the grandstand but when he looked over at the ball it was losing its glow and curving away from the goalkeeper towards the corner of the goal and right in hitting the back of the net.
"interesting..." Pyros said to nobody seeing as no-one was around to hear it.
The game continued as Pyros sat back in his seat and watched as the ball got stuck in midfield again, The other midfielder he had been paying attention to was now on the ball towards goal, he was completely free to run at the goal, he decided not run any closer though, from just slightly closer than midfield he shot on the goal, it soared so high it looked like going way over the crossbar, the goalkeeper and stood off and left it to go out.
This is what was totally unexpected, the midfielder grinned and waved his hand as if in an anger for having missed the goal and suddenly turned around to see the crossbar bending up and the ball hitting it on the inside bouncing into the goal.
He turned around and began punching the air in grand victory! The game continued and eventually ended in a tie. Pyros went down and waited for the teams to come out from their change rooms, he pulled the 2 midfielders from the rest of the group.
"hey, i noticed your playing today, you guys have got skill, what team do you play for?" Pyros asked. The players were confused at someone pulling them out after having playing a pretty hard match and they were relieved to go home. "we dont play for a team, we meet up with a new group of friends and take on each other, its how we get better" One answered. "well, how about joining my team? were gonna be competing in the dynatos soccer tournament, the first ever, you will be part of the beginning of the future!" Pyros tried to negotiate.
"how do we know your team is any good, or that your even worthy of being a captain?" They both debated. "how about this, we go down to those goals and seeing as im a goalkeeper ill do what i do best, keep your midfielder shots out of the goal? If you can get atleast 3 out of 5 in i'll leave you alone and you can say im not a worthy captain, what do you say?" Pyros asked them. They took a while to think about it but soon after they were all suited up and Pyros was standing in the goals with his gloves on and padded up.
"ok, bring it!" Pyros shouted awaiting the balls to come flying in on him, he had to stop every ball possible, it was a requirement if he wanted to make this team and get into the dynatos tournament.

Pyros watched the first midfielder walk up to the penalty marker and place the ball down in position for the kick. He walked backward keeping his eyes firmly on Pyros who only starred back gripping his fists together and releasing them ready to stop the ball.
He ran at the ball, the midfielder struck it and it sped toward the left hand side of the goal at a moderate level of height. Pyros could easily stop the ball but he didnt move just yet, suddenly he rolled over and along the way put up his leg to kick the ball away to the left.
As Pyros stood up and went back over to his goal position the midfielder went over and placed another ball in the penalty spot and quickly shot it into the right hand top corner. Pyros jumped up and caught it in his hands as he dropped the ball on his landing to use an arm to break the landing.
The first midfielder was getting a little frustrated and placed the next ball down, if this one didnt go in he would have lost the challenge of getting 3 out of 5 in. He focused to make sure he got this in, he was breathing slightly heaver than normal. Pyros was already sweating and had his fists cluchted tight.
The ball came flying, it was in no direct direction but it was towards the left. Pyros jumped at the ball it was an incredibly fast ball and curving slowly away from Pyros whenever he drew closer to it, his final chance to stop the ball he reached out his fingers as far as possible and just nudged the ball but it was not enough it nudged to a different area of the goal and went in hitting the back of the net as Pyros hit the grass.
The midfielder was ecstatic and happy.
Pyros and the midfielder got back into positions and got ready for the next challenge...

Pyros had now saved 2 of the balls that were shot at him, one had gone in and he needed only to save one of the next 2 balls in order to win the challenge for the first midfielder.
The midfielder kicked the ball and it was sent towards the top corner but looked like flying a little over the goal crossbar, he knew how this guy had bent the crossbar previously, Pyros moved over to make sure if he did try something like that then Pyros would have himself in atleast the correct position to protect the goal.
As expected, the crossbar bent out of place and Pyros jumped up to block the ball punching it away from his goal saving the final ball he needed to save. Pyros was happy and now went back to the goal and got ready for the other midfielder to bring on his game.
