John frowned. "A...flick?" he had never heard the term before. But he could still answer her first question. "I was just going to go exploring. Learn my way around."

Pyros listened to the conversation begin to flare up and grow like flames. "im... just hoping to get into the soccer scene a little more, this whole special school thing, its alright but im going to get through it and get my grades and put most of my efforts into my soccer" Pyros replied as he finished his food with a last bite and picked up his tray getting up out of his seat. "i have to go... get some... soccer practice..." Pyros explained his reason for leaving. He went over and threw away his rubbish before going back to his room.
OOC: im out of this thread.

"Oh, okay then, later Pyros," she felt a little confused. What had that been about? She had just been talking, girls do that a lot, didn't he know. 'I'm probably growing this way out of proportion,' she thought, 'he just wants to do soccer. No big deal.' But still it bothered her slightly. She mentally shook it off and turned back to John, “You know a flick, a movie. A form of entertainment that enacts a story by a sequence of images giving the illusion of continuous movement. A film, motion picture, moving picture, picture show… know what I mean now?” She didn’t mean to sound condescending but before coming here people had joked that she was their dictionary or thesaurus. She a tendency to look up random words in the dictionary to find that meaning because she wanted to make sure she used things in the proper sense of the word. It was one of her odd habits.

"Goodbye." John added his goodbyes to Athelia's as Pyros departed.
He smiled slightly at Athelia's explanation. "I know what a movie is, thank you." he replied. "I just didn't know it was the same thing as a flick. Were you planning on going to one?"

"Maybe, I always need to be doing something, if I'm bored I'm likely to get into trouble, I need my life to be filled to the brim so that I fall into bed from exhaustion and wake with a smile looking forward to what will happen. I crave adventure and action! That is my weakness,” she gave a sudden sad expression complete with a pout.

John chuckled softly then tried to mirror Athelia's expression. "Hmm...sounds serious. I'm afraid Dr. John is going to have to write you a prescription." John leaned back and frowned thoughtfully. "Now...what can I prescribe to assure you aren't bored?"

"Action, adventure, fabulous fight scenes, I've got it, a spelling bee!" She had brought her hand up like she had discovered the solution to the mystery, then she brought it down and grinned sheepishly, "or maybe not."

John raised an eyebrow. "A spelling bee? All right, if that's what it takes. After lunch, we'll go to the library and I'll start reading the dictionary to you, then you have to spell the word. And for everyone you get wrong, you have to do ten push-ups." John kept a strait face for a few moments then grinned at her. "Or, we could see what kind of DVD's they have and check one of those out instead."

"Sounds better, maybe one of the common room TVs will be open. We could always sneak in there in the middle of the night so we can watch it. Although they do frown a little bit when you do that," she said with a far off look as she thought of the last time she had been caught sneaking around at night. It wasn't her fault cats were nocturnal and so, in turn, was she.

John frowned. "I don't want to get you in trouble." he stated. Well, he didn't want to get in trouble, either, but it sounded better if he was looking out for her. "Maybe we should just try it during the day. And maybe the headmistress will let us set up a TV in one of the classrooms or something. After school, there are alot of empty rooms and a few TV's that aren't used."

"Good idea, I hadn't thought of that," she smiled like a proud mother resisted the urge to ruffle John's hair, "You're such a smart little boy!" She chuckled and settled back to eat her cookie, having finished her tuna, she broke a piece off of the cookie and popped it into her mouth, "So are there any movies that you can think of that you want to see?"

John smiled back when she did, then blushed furiously when she called him a smart little boy. Trying to cover, he picked up his glass and quickly drained it. "I don't really...watch to many movies." he admitted. "I guess you'll have to pick."

"Okay, please forgive me if I don't choose any romance movies, I prefer comedy or action, much more fun!" She dusted off the crumbs on her fingers as she finished off the cookie. "Do you want to meet after classes and go pick something out?"
