Pyros went over to the canteen and took his lunch which had been delivered from the nearby shopping centre which he ordered to get delivered every day he had school. He took the tray and walked around the seating areas, he had never believed that a stereotypical movie highschool existed but here it was like that... people seemed to be sitting with particular people and you would not be excepted to sit with them. Pyros searched for Athalia but she was nowhere to be found, he went over and sat down in a table by the corner which was only a 2 seater and probably the reason it was free.

Athalia came in from the kitchens carrying a box of crackers, a little can of tuna, a jar of mayo, a bowl, and a fork when she spotted Pyros she walked over and set her stuff down quickly. Before she sat she pulled a third chair close by, just in case anyone else decided to come and sit with them. Sitting down she started fixing the tuna with mayo, looking up she explained, "Cafeteria lunch didn't look very good to me."

The cafeteria lunch had looked fine to John so he had it on a tray as he glanced around for a place to sit. He only recognized two people in the cafeteria and they both coincidentally were sitting at the same table with a third chair positioned awkwardly close by. "Umm...Mind if I join you?" he asked uncertainly as he made his way over and stood next to the table.

"Oh, yes, sure John, have seat," Athalia said nonchalantly, almost too coolly. "So how have you gentlemen been?"

Pyros looked at what the group was eating and studied it carefully. "well, thats the reason i get my lunches delivered from a restaurant nearby, never liked anything that wasnt gourmet" Pyros added to her note on cafeteria food. Pyros looked over at John as he sat down at the table, Pyros and Athalia were now face to face and he was on the side and the last edge of the table was against the wall. It was getting a little awkward having their 3 legs' bunched up under a 2 seater table so Pyros pushed his chair out a bit so his legs werent in the way. "ive been fine... aside from the unpopularity i seem to have been getting since my first soccer match here..." Pyros replied to her question.

"I have been..fine as well." John replied to Athelia as he glanced back down at his tray. The food on it could hardly be described as gourmet but it was more then adequate for survival. That's all that mattered, wasn't it? he then turned back to Athelia. "So...how have you been?" Since she asked about him it seemed only polite to ask about her.

"Well enough I suppose, still sucking at math and barely surviving at science. I hate those classes. Everything else I can live with, I might not like them but I can live with them, but those two! Ugh! Have mercy on me and kill me before I must take the tests tomorrow. Both of them in one day. Those teachers must hate me or something," she pouted dramatically, she was always looking for a laugh, never was serious. Well not for long anyway.
((Eric, we only have three legs? When did we each loose one? You say we only have three. LOL I'm just teasing, that did make me laugh though!))

John smirked slightly at her theatrics. "I'd rather not kill you." he pretended to take her remark seriously. "If I did that, who would help me with my History homework? That is, if your interested in a study partner. i have a pretty good grasp of math and science. But some of those other classes. Like you said...kill me now."

She laughed slightly, "Sure, I'll help you and if you can manage to do anything with my hopelessness then more power to you." She took a bite of the tuna and crackers when she relized she had forgotten a drink. Pushing back her chair she stood to get a drink saying, "Excuse me for a moment gentlemen," and started toward the soda fountain.

"Sounds good." John replied as Athalia accepted his offer to study together. He shifted his seat to the side to allow her to slip by on the way to the soda faountain then picked up his hamburger and began eating it.

Athalia had to wait in a short line before she could get a drink and when she did she got a cup of Dr. Pepper, her favorite soda. On her way back to the table she picked up a few cookies, white choclate and macadamia nut. Then she was coming back.

John grinned back at Athelia as she made her way to the table. "Welcome back. I see yoiu survived the hazards of the cafeteria." John attempted a lame joke.

"Today," she said and then put on a deep dramatic voice, "but tune in next time for... the walk past the cheerleaders! Dun, dun, dunnnnnn!" She giggled as she slipped into her chair and laid out the cookies. "Ya'll want one?"

John nodded, keeping a strait face at Athelia's dramatics. "Ah, yes. The hazardous walk past the cheerleaders. If you ever need back up, let me know." he replied. "And yes, i think I'd like a cookie. Thank you." John reached over, picked one up and took a bite.

"So what do you gentlemen have planned for this week? Going to catch a flick or anything?" Lia took a bite and licked a finger clean while she listened to them.
